'Lil Artist, Big Feelings is a conceptualized children's game that personifies complex emotions to teach players about processing and sorting them.

For young players who may be struggling to identify their emotion, 'Lil Artist, Big Feelings provides a safe space to express your feelings through shape, color, and music. Not only does it serve as a safe space of self expression, it teaches children to identify their emotions, teaching them valuable social and communicative skills. After spending some time with their emotion, the emotion can be released and revisited at a different time.

Intended to explore accessibility within children's games, I conducted in depth user research by analyzing popular childrens' games such as TocaBoca world, Poptropica, and Pinkamusical Garden. By identifying the design choices that make these games particularly successful for children, I was able to make a well informed prototyped.
