Inspired by the Golden Age of Magic in the early 1920s, I used a primary color palette commonly seen in vintage magic show posters. In order to maintain the magical feel, I used two saturated accent colors used to represent our AI enemies as well as our player. Because the Lumis are very stylized and illustrative, I used a textured brush and bold strokes to carry over that feeling into our 2D card world.

I closely collaborated with the art team and game design team to create props such as the player and enemy cards, in which the organization of information was important as well as the aesthetics.
